Leave Me Alone
Words and Music - Gary Morrell
Unreleased
Don’t leave me alone
Leave me alone
Leave me alone
Leave me alone
In a garden on a wind swept cliff in Japan
stands a phone booth with a rotary phone
You can call anyone that's ever been
and many have made the call
Don’t leave me alone
Leave me alone
Leave me alone
Leave me alone
The common thought the overt desire
That you're alive somewhere anywhere
It's a phone booth to the afterlife
There's a way to reach those that you have lost
In time they're revived
You know they've survived
Their spirit shines through
Like a light in the sky
The old and the young both frequent the phone
What do they hear
Are their thoughts their own?
Consciousness is but a field we surmise
Our brain a receiver of all we devise
What are they hearing what do they feel
Whichever way you disappear
Don’t leave me alone
(We remember the things we want to forget)
Leave me alone
Leave me alone
(And forget the things we want to remember)
Leave me alone
